Tasting note

Dry rose flower nose. Nice soft dry fruit with balancing acidity

Producer tasting notes

Very delicate bouquet with hints of white flowers and fresh fruit on the nose (apricot, peaches and strawberries). Light, rose colour.

Food matching suggestions

This wine goes very well with hors doeuvres and fish dishes, in particular lobster and crabmeat. It also forms an excellent accompaniment for soups and white meats.

Information on producer

For nearly 100 years the Fabiano family have been growing, producing and selling wines from the Veneto region in North East Italy. This winery is now run by the fourth generation, brothers Alessandro and Michele Fabiano, under the watchful eye of their father Nicola.

Information on Wine & Area

Conditions for the 2009 vintage were perfect, with sunny and windy weather. The grapes were picked in the first 10 days of September, and then softly pressed in their skins at a low temperature of 4/6%. The must is then separated and further pressing yields no more than 65% grape juice.
